Hello everyone, my name is Ann Oglesby and I will be teaching 6th grade Social Studies on the Yeti team. This is my 2nd year teaching at Westlake Middle School and my 7th year teaching overall. I am originally from Chicago, IL, earned my teaching degree from Indiana University, and taught for a few years in North Carolina. I took a short break from teaching to attend nursing school but I realized teaching was my main passion. This long journey led me to Colorado, where I live with my husband, Rick, and our wonderful fur-baby, Major. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy fishing, hiking, traveling, reading, being with my family, and the occasional tv show binge.
